newb question on effects loop

Re: newb question on effects loop

NO NO NO NO NO. I imagine you'd fry the pedal...and you might damage the amp or speaker. NEVER put anything between the amp and the speaker. (Well except for a power soak/attenuator)

Re: newb question on effects loop

gee thanks =) haha good thing you told me i was about too, but with a different audio component not the valve jr. i guess i can only do this with a line out not with a power out

thanks again!

Re: newb question on effects loop

I have a Valve Jr. and an RV-2, also. The RV-2 sounds just fine in front of the amp.

yup i like my RV-2 but i've always used in front of an amp. i wish i can try it in an effects loop some day

Re: newb question on effects loop

Amps with built-in reverb have their reverb late in the signal chain, which is closer to ideal.

I think there may be mods availalbe to the Valve Jr. which add an effect loop. I bought my Valve Jr. with the intention of getting some mods done, but I think the stock form rools.
