I really can't understand the schematics...
The one I am replacing (Pearly Gates 1) has 4 wires. The Sh-1 has ONE! The shield is metal and there is only one white wire...
Oh, and I want to install it in my Strat's bridge...
HELP!!! please?

The shield should be soldered to ground, the wire is your hot output.

How's the old one wired?

Well, the gound and the red are soldered to the volume pot, the green white and black are soldered onto the selector switch.
Thanks for taking the time Chamorro.

That means you had it hardwired for parallel/out-of-phase. I'm guessing that you have stock Fender singles. This makes it a little trickier with a shielded wire. You'll either need to ground the white wire, and use the sheild for hot. (Not ideal.) Or use the shield for ground, and the white for hot, then reverse the phase, (the two wires), of the other two pups.

I can go into more detail if you need. :)

Those are good directions. The only thing I'd disagree with is his label of the second method as "better". Its just different, and harder to do. Think about it - once you remove the wires from the center, there's no benefit to maintaining the integrity of the braid. (At least, that I can think of). The first way is perfectly acceptable.
