I got this about a week ago actually... for a heck of a price. It's modded with an 80's original floyd rose, refinished, hand painted dragon (under the clear coat), Custom fingerboard radius(pretty flat), refretted with dunlop 6000.. they are HUGE, I'm really liking them for my style. modded pickup configuration. Pickups are all from the 80's... they are Bill Lawrence L-500XL, L-250, DiMarzio X2N. I must say this guitar can freakin SCREAM ! the pickups kick ass. I've never tried Lawrence pickups, but they rock in this guitar. It has 3 way toggles for each humbucker, it goes, full humbucker/out of phase/split to single coil. pretty awesome. It has some sweet birdseye all over the front and back of the neck... I couldn't get it to photograph though.

Damn that's nice! That neck is gorgeous. But damn that's some serious pickup power. That thing must be loud!

Thanks for your comments. I don't mind, I got it for $650 shipped to my door. I was waiting a long time, and found exactly what I was looking for. It is very loud.

wow. way too "metal" of a strat for me, but I'm a wimp. The maple neck looks awesome on it. Dare I say that rosewood would look kinda boring with all that?

I'm actually not a huge fan of the mirror pickguard. But everything else is total sweetness, lol. I think the flashiness of the pickgaurd distracts from the cool decal.

Agreed. Get a black pickgaurd. Other than that she's perfect.

Really? I liked the mirror, it looks better in person though. I forgot to mention... I picked up a JVM205H a few weeks ago also. It's a great amp, it can do all styles of rock very well.

I have a red pearloid pickguard my my black strat that looks sweet. There's a lot of neat combos out there. I happen to like the mirror look.

I didn't know they made birdseye necks back then. Is that stock?

Thanks, I figured I wasn't alone with that one. Oh, I dunno if the birdseye is sotck or not, it may have just turned out that way... it has quite alot of it though.

yeah the birdseye is cool, and so is the ginormous headstock.

That's pretty BADASS! Great score. Does it play as good as it looks? Flamey neck too.

beautiful birdseye, not much for the Floyd tho, but besides that it rocks...
