I cant remember the model number now, but I REALLY REALLY want the model series bass that had the set neck in black cherry! I have yet to see the colour in person The set neck bass was model 3B...did it come in that color too? My bass player and I have matching Model 3's (guitar/bass) in red. We're cute.

I have yet to see the colour in person The set neck bass was model 3B...did it come in that color too? My bass player and I have matching Model 3's (guitar/bass) in red. We're cute.
Model 3Bs are neck-thru; Charvel / Jackson didn't make set neck guitars then and I'm not 100% sure they do now. (the import LP-alikes maybe?)
My favorite model series color is cobalt blue. Black cherry is a cool color, but it often looks rather brown in person. Here's my black cherry Model 4/2 mutt, made from a 1986 Model 4 and the neck from an evidently '88 Model 2:
