I like the 90's & early 2000's Classics the most but age is just a number.
I have an import Les Paul Jr. thats got something special going on.
Set neck, they got the neck angle correct, 1/2 Maple cap, 8.2lbs, i couldn't pass it up.
Put a Seymour Duncan Custom P-90, Graph-tech Resomax bridge, voila'.

Gorgeous guitar!! congrats! I love Les Pauls. I own a 2003 classic plain top, a 2004 standard plus and a 1990 standard, all of them in heritage cherry. They are all around 4,2 kg. Different feel and different sound. the 2004 standard is the guitar I prefer the most but the 1990 is really the best of the bunch. It's resonant and has a comfortably neck shape. early 90 lesters are really great guitars and it's quite impossible to get one early 90 classic for a reasonable price in Italy (if in good shape you need around 2000 euros).
