I'll cut right to the chase - I traded my OD100 I had up for sale for a PRS Custom 24 10 top. Excuse the crappy cell phone picture.

I'd had my Suhr/CAA OD100 up for sale for a month and a half and didn't have any takers. I opened up Craigslist to drop the price on my ad again when I spied an ad for this guitar, and the price was a match for what I had the amp up for. I read the ad and the guy said he'd be open to cash or a trade for a good boutique combo amp or head.
I contacted him, told him what I'd had and asked if he'd be up for a straight trade. Interestingly enough he'd never heard of Suhr's CAA amps. I told him the basics of what it was, and he asked me to send him some pictures of it, so I did. After a day, he called me and told me he'd researched the amp and liked what he found, so we agreed to meet up at a local Guitar Center and "audition" each other's gear.
Long story short - he REALLY loved the amp. He had a Mesa Stiletto he wasn't happy with and this was now going to be the replacement. He'd never really played an amp like this before and he was just floored.
As for his guitar, he told me it was his most expensive guitar, but also his least-played, and he'd rather have the cash or a good amp to replace his Mesa. I picked up the guitar and right away I liked the way it felt and sounded. I've always dug Custom 22s and 24s, but they've always been a little out of reach for me, price-wise. This one was in pretty nice condition (3 minor dings on the back and sides) and had the case, trem bar, and all the case candy. He even gave me extra knobs, pickup rings, and straplocks to go with it!
We both came out of the transaction happy with what we got, which is the way it should be.
So yeah, I'm a PRS owner now!! :fest7:
