NGD and I can't even play on it

A Squier LH Silver Series Stratocaster arrived today. (Some members may recognise it as the subject of a recent thread begun by another forum member.) This guitar dates from 1993 or 94 yet its condition could fairly be described as no worse than "shop soiled". Some of the chromed hardware has tarnished slightly and the frets need a polish.

Needless to say, it will require US pickups and better electronic parts. I think it deserves a w/b/w or parchment scratchplate.

If I am going to keep this thang, it is going to require a new RH nut. Right now, with all of the strings upside down, all that I can do on it is double handed tapping like on the bass register of a Chapman Stick.

I am more right-handed than left-handed. (My brother is the opposite way.) Guitars RH, pool cues, firearms LH, scratchin' EITHER HAND!

Er, sounds like I don't wear my guitars as low on the strap as you. Anyway, what makes you think that I am a man?

Meanwhile, time to point my telephone at a 100% stock, unmolested, still got the plastic around the screw heads, Squier Silver Series Upsidedownocaster. I'll upload 'em later.

Oh yes i do say Funk it is a very nice Axe you got there, It's a great example from what i saw.

and how dare they ask to see your nuts! how inappropriate, We man have to have dignity you know! ;)

I'll have you know that I have been being publically indecent for over thirty five years. [In Yorkshire accent] I served all through t' First World War for t' likes o' you.

OK, I'm confused, I am years passed fifty (and not falling appart) but the first world war was over a long time before I arrived, but if you are still downloading on a phone then maybe you are in some kind of a time warp and I agree, why get a left handed guitar if you are right handed, give it to your brother who may have a better chance of playing it. Oh, if you are not a man then I bet your hair is light coloured. :scratchch)

hmmm
I am mostly right handed
but do firearms and such left
several things I do left

often play guitar just as badly upside down and backwards
kinda like mandolin chords when its backwards and upside down

EDIT

I thought my lefthandedness was due to a stigma in my right eye that
prevent me from aiming a BB gun when I was younger
may be a brain thing tho

The Quarrymen, if I recall correctly. Nothing really came of it and he spent much of the 1960s in his room working on the lyrics for Mull Of Kintyre.
