Long time, no post.

Paid off my student loans in the early part of this year. To celebrate being debt free (house, car and education all paid for and I only carry a tiny cc balance to maintain credit) for the first time in my adult life, I went shopping for the guitar I've wanted for the past three or four years, since they announced them. Took me a while to track down just the right one (plus, the hunt is half the fun), but finally took delivery a couple of weeks ago.

I've read the comments posted here and elsewhere about this model (and its eponymous artist) so I reckon I know the kind of reception it's gonna get. But that's okay; I don't really like your Super Strat!

I’m not a big fan of their shape. But I tried one at a local shop and it played and sounded great. Congrats

I tried one once, and they are great instruments. I think they would sell a lot more if they weren't marketed as a guitar soley designed around the female figure.

Enjoy your NGD! I have not seen one in a shop to play. Has a Firebird vibe to it with a bowtie thrown in. How about a couple more body shot? Is the body contoured in the upper bout like a Strat or is that just a reflection?

The only think I don't like about the guitar is the ****ty access to the two highest frets.

Contoured, but not quite like a Strat. More angular. Pics updated above.

I really like the inlays. Whats important is that you like it, WGAS what anyone else thinks. Others probably think my Iceman is uglier than sin, well Im not playing it for them. Keep on rockin brotha
