Then it EXPLODED!

And just a few minutes ago, to top it all off, the bushings fell out.

Well. It was fun while it lasted.

I guess now all I have to do is strip the paint, stain the wood, upgrade the tuning keys, add more dynamic pickups, restore the electronics, and put it back together.

arent you left handed or do I have you confused with someone else

There's no reason why it couldn't be both.

They don't have this in left-handed. I also forgot to mention that at some point I hope to track down or somehow make a left-handed pickguard for it.

is it the particular model?

or bolt neck SGs that arent lefty?

I can find you one if you like?

ebay is full of lefty sg pickguards
aliexpress has em for $6 each

whole lefty SGs are around $200- 450 on Ebay
used

new Epiphones are around that range too

but if you just enjoy projects

do you plan to fill the holes and reroute the control cavity?

or use your forearm to adjust the tone control

if you leave the control cavity where it is
you wont need a new pickguard

This one was $229. I wanted the project. Epi's aren't the right shape.

Also, it's not as simple as a left-handed pickguard, the arm bevel on the side makes sizing an issue.

The control cavity stays. Tone control won't be an issue.

The look of the controls on one side and the pickguard on the diagonal seems like it would work, which I won't know until I see it.

The smaller holes from where the pickguard used to be might look too obvious if I fill those but might not be so obvious once the black paint is removed.
