NGD!! Been waiting for a while... Semi-Hollow content!

Finally picked this up on Thursday evening! 2004 Gibson ES-335 Figured Top. This thing plays and sounds amazing!!! I think I have actually found a guitar now that I like better than a Les Paul. I was originally looking at a 339 that the guy was selling, but then I found out that he also had this, so I decide to just check both of them out and see which one that I liked the best. It took a while to get it because the guy kept jerking me around, and everytime that I talked to him, he kept changing the deal that we had agreed on. But I was finally able to get it, and I am very happy with it now! Here are some pics... They are not the best but it was SUPER HARD to get any good pics that would show the flame in the top. All of the others just made it look like a plain top, but this guitar has quite a bit of flame to it. Btw, a 335 through a Bassman is an INCREDIBLE combo!

That's purdy. 335's have a thing all their own and man, it's pretty sweet too.

I'm not the biggest 335 fan but I have to say that one looks fantastic! I'll bet it sounds wonderful through the Bassman..... congrats and enjoy.

Excellent choice. And looks like you have an excellent guitar stand to go with it. :smokin:

Very nice guitar. I have both a 335 and 359. IMHO you made the right choice. The 335 has more tonal character then a LP does. You will learn to love the versatility of the 335.

There are some awesome hollow body guitars. Some that come to mind are the Tennessean and County Gentleman and the Epiphone ES-230. Guild has made some beautiful guitars also. There are few semi-hollow body guitars and fewer still world class semi-hollow body guitars. But I must ask, how many can compete with this fine Gibson.

Thanks a lot guys!! I can't put this guitar down! I absolutely love it! I wish I would have saved my funds and scraped together the money to get one of these a long time ago.

I'm a 335 man, and yours looks among the sweetest I've seen. That subtle flame simply is a-killing!

Gorgeous Guitar. Only thing that would make it better looking IMO, is small blocks. But I am weird like that ;)

Congrats kid and I wholeheartedly agree....a 335 through a Bassman is DYNAMITE! Pretty killer little rig right there!

Lol Thanks guys! I think I even like it just has much through my DRRI, too. I can't wait to try running the Bassman and DRRI in stereo with this.
