First impressions: Build quality is good, no apparent flaws in the finish or fit. The guitar is a lot lighter than I expected. Looks to be a two piece body instead of a three piece...I can only see one seam and it's down the middle of the back. The intonation seems pretty good, but I'll be changing to heavier strings and will have a setup done. Nut is a tad sticky around the B & e strings, not too bad. The pots seem ok, the tone rolls up and down but is a little abrupt at the bottom end. The pickups sound good so far. Good cleans and raunchy overdrive, highs on the bridge pickup caught me off guard. I tried to balance them with height adjustments, but P-90s like to fight back in that area. I'll see what happens when I put on the 11-50 strings and work with the action a little. Overall, I'd say this guitar came out-of-the-box in giggable condition. If someone handed it to me onstage I could manage it without any frustration.

I dig it! It's a keeper. Who knows what mods will happen in the future, but right now I'm in the honeymoon phase and loving it.

Edit: Just noticed that the neck actually has black binding...weird.

The profile of the neck is a bit rounded, like the missing link between a 59 and 60s slim. Feels good when chording as well as lead playing.
