I've been gassing for another Charvel for the past two years since I sold my Style 2 San Dimas. I lucked up and found this in the classifieds from Lpmarshall! Thanks for the easy transaction and great deal!! Promise I'll do it justice!!

Great shape and no scratches or dents on the body! Only flaw I found was a finish crack near the neck pocket, which he too me about. No big deal on that cause a many of them have them. Tremelno installed along with a SD Parallel Axis/Crazy 8 pickups. A little cleaning and it'll be awesomeness! I've ordered a dtuna, brass block, some Allen wrenches and a few screws.

Yummy! I almosts snagged a style 2 in that colour instead of my slime green style 1. It is a Really amazing colour in person!
Is this still the USA pro mod or were the Japanese pro mods made in this colour as well?

It's a USA version. I had the Style 2 San Dimas a few years back and sold it cause I was a frightened expecting father. Like fool, I regretted it. I'm still looking for another though!!

AWESOME!! I LOVE those charvels and thats a cool color and a Crazy 8 is even more awesome!!! I just ordered a Dtuna for mine 2 days ago! already have a big block and other mods on her. Id still like to score one of the purple ones.. But cant afford or justify another..

I love metallic automotive type finishes on guitars. Besides my bursts, it's pretty much what I gravitate toward.

That's my favorite Charvel color.

Crooktele, laughing to myself about that first pic.. Got all ya need there bro.. Hot guitar, coupla hot amps, a sidearm and a bible.. Just need an American flag

I have that hanging on the other wall and a bud light neon sign beside it!


Oh and I've never played a Crazy 8 but I did love the JB with an A8 mag in my style 2 San Dimas. How's the crazy sound?

Actually I don't know yet, Cole!! It's stripped completely down at the moment. Giving it a thorough cleaning, Floyds taken apart to put a 42mm brass block on, and necks off for adjustment!! I should know by Wednesday when I get all the parts in! Nice to see ya on here bro!! Good people here!! And thanks again man!

Oh man, that has to be killing you! I am a fan of those brass blocks on a Floyd, or any tremolo for that matter. They really do add some chunk and warmth to the sound. I hope that it is sounds amazing and plays even better.

I don't post here much, but I frequent it quite a bit. There are lots of knowledgable people on here and I really enjoy reading the posts! I can't wait for your videos of it :D

Yeah it's killing me to jam on it right now. But I only plan on tearing it down once for all this, so I chose to wait lol!! I've heard good things with the brass blocks. It also came with a tremelno installed. So it's gonna a beast when I finish! I'm still ready to hear what the Parallel axis and crazy 8 sounds like. If I don't gel with them, I'm probably going to drop a set of fastback beard Combers in there.

I hear the Parallel Axis is really cool, but I haven't read much on the Crazy 8. I definitely would like to hear your thoughts when it is all said and done. What are these Beard Combers you are talking about?

They are made by Fastback guitars and are made for high gain some transparency!! Sounds awesome in the clips. Valvequeen has one in her Charvel And it sounds kick***!!

Oh, I have seen those before, but I totally forgot about them. They do sound good and are pretty reasonably priced! I have been eyeing the Breed Neck for my Pacifica 912 bridge position... These might be worth looking into...

LOL!! I was wondering why you were asking how it sounds when you said this guitar came with one... But I read the rest of your posts and I see.

IMO, the Crazy 8 has nice chunky lows, good note separation, is expressive and has a nice distortion with fizz. Im guessing it will crush thru the mesa. Look forward to your take on it
