Dano's take on a Mosrite Combo - flippin' thing rocks! Pickups are great, I'll upgrade the MIK guts and I have to polish the slots in aluminum string guide, otherwise it's pretty killer.

Re: NGD: Dano 66

That is nice! That black finish looks miles deep and when they shine like that its tough to beat them imo. Nice score man!

If you dont mind can you post a pic of the knobs? I know that seems odd, but Ive never seen those before and they look really cool! (Just caught my eye cause Im searching for some knobs that are uncommon.)

Edit:
I forgot to mention that I also really like how the fretboard is extended because that makes it flow nice visually which was a nice touch.

Those pickups look a bit close together or is that just the picture? Either way, cool find.

Re: NGD: Dano 66

It sure does have that Mosrite vibe to it...very cool looking guitar and congrats on your purchase.

Re: NGD: Dano 66

Got rid of the box switch and cheapo jack, i kept the pots. They’re full size and seem fine.

Full fret polish and strung up with 10-46’s and i played it for 3 hrs. In love with these pickups, this guitar and the Bug V5 were made for each other.

Re: NGD: Dano 66

love the look of it and the dual lipstick bucker in the bridge is extra badass

Dano is the New Frontier of Affordable Guitardom. That one does look very intriguing, with a very interesting combination of pickups. Have fun with that baby!

Re: NGD: Dano 66

The new Dano's are great. I love the funky old ones but these actually play really well too.

The double lipstick is a thing of beauty!

Re: NGD: Dano 66

Does this mean you're over the Mosrite MkII? That was quick......

Re: NGD: Dano 66

Not that i dont go thru guitars like water but the Mosy is safe. Waiting on a pickup from the custom shop. The PRS and the Firebird might be finding new homes though
