Aceman
I am your doctor of love!
Time to reveal my latest creation! Please play the following vid for background music. You'll see why in a moment.
Remember the Chops Builder? That's it on the left. Well, I got another cheap B Vendetta for my birthday. That's what they look like when they start out there on the right. And after some thought, I figured out what to do with it...

As always, the first step is to tear it down and fill any unwanted cavities with some wood shims and wood filler.

Then, sand it until it's smoooooth. Usually that takes a few attemps and a quick spray or two to check.

Then, a scratch sand with 320 and shoot a coat of primer.

Next, I spray a color coat in my "studio" (aka the garage)

Then some drying in the low humidity room. (aka the computer room)

Then, some masking.

Next, more color coat. Yes, that is some ferocious orange peel effect. Partly light/flash/angle, and it will go away (mostly) with the clear coats. I like a little 'industrial' feel anyway.

The final coats are some clear gloss and a 800 and 1200 wet sand.
Since this project needed some serious horsepower, so I put a Duncan Detonator under the hood.

And of course, the requisite DR neon strings. So, do you think my tractor is sexy?

Sorry - no special strap - just going to be plain yellow nylon. I couldn't wait!
