Schecter makes a damn fine 335 copy. I got my Schecter Corsair yesterday. It is an amazing instrument. The finish is beautiful with a faux-bound body, neck and f holes. The Bigsby keeps in tune. The neck is super-comfy.

I had fallen out of love with humbuckers, but I'm going to be cheating on my teles now The stock HB 101 pickups are surprisingly sweet. The bridge has a great midrange honk and both are totally serviceable clean or pushed. The factory coil splits give a silky tone. I'm going to honeymoon with them for now, forget they are Duncan Designed pups, and not jump to any conclusions.

Pics do not do it justice. In dim light it has more of a brown appearance. The reds pop when in brighter light

Surprisingly awesome! I dig it. I've wanted a ES-335 for a long time, but won't the Gibson price and haven't dug the Epiphone Dots I've played. You have my attention.

They had a black and a red corsair juste like this one with the Bigsby at the shop last week and I tried them! From that moment I swear, I want a 335 type of guitar. It really felt awesome and the red one looked awesome because you can really see the wood thru, not like your pics sadly. :/

They had a black and a red corsair juste like this one with the Bigsby at the shop last week and I tried them! From that moment I swear, I want a 335 type of guitar. It really felt awesome and the red one looked awesome because you can really see the wood thru, not like your pics sadly. :/

Thanks, Franky. Actually you can see the wood, especially on the sides and mahogany neck. You can blame my hurried photos for the loss of detail.

I like that it has a Bigsby. I keep telling myself to get one...but somehow never come around to doing it. Congrats!
