NGD: EBMM JP6

Jomo's Nimions
More guitar swapping, and holy bejeebus, I couldn’t be happier.

2002 EBMM JP6 in Mystic Dream (fades from purple to green depending on the light). Someone replaced the stock pickups with the Crunch Lab/Liquifire, and I’m not complaining.

This is hands down the easiest to play guitar ever. The setup is excellent, but I think the forearm scoop on top is the big factor. I remember reading an interview with Petrucci when they were designing the guitar. He described how they put lotion on the inside of his right forearm, and carved away anywhere it was smeared on the top. Sounds silly, but the result is ergonomically wonderful.

Uploading images isn’t working, so I’ll sort it out tomorrow and post some pics, but this thing is crazy.

A EBMM JP guitar is in my wish list. Currently own a Sterling Majesty, which is a great guitar for the price. But I gotta have the real thing one day. Congrats on your NGD! And please get the pics issue sorted out!

Thanks guys. I’m getting ready to take it outside in the sun for some better pics of the finish.

In the meantime, I bought a DiMarzio ClipLock strap when I was 15 because I saw JP using them. 27 years later, I got a little giggley putting one on his guitar :)

Really like the EB guitars i have played and almost bought a super nice Luke a while back. Love the necks and the workmanship is killer. Played a few JP 6's and they are killers congrats!
