So I went with the SH-2 Jazz Bridge. I only got to test it through my solid state, but damn it sounds mean in this guitar. I can't wait to hear it through my Marshall.

Ive never tried seths.. curious.. Id think the Distortion wouldnt balance well with one. Guess it does?

Yes it does, I especially love the middle position, nasty fat tone.

Good call on the string change.

No push pull pots. The bridge pickup is an Epiphone HotCh. Which will probably get replaced with a JB.

Go for it dude, I have JB-59 in my Epiphone LP just like yours. They are perfect for rock and metal. The fact that the JB is in a thick LP makes the sound heavier. I have another JB installed in an LP copy whose body is thinner, and the sound is just that, thinner.

Most tone compliments I ever got was a JB in an all mahogany LP. I still changed the pup because I didn't like it...but just saying.

And how is that Epi LP doing OP?
