NGD - finally got a 7-string

It's a 2009 Dean Avalanche 7. The tone and construction are superb for the price range.... like.... as good as, or better than late 90's korean LTD's or modern PRS SE's.... THAT good. Of course, the pickups are the weak point and are getting swapt.

The question is: what color pickups?

Black pickups and black knobs?
White pickups and white knobs?
Zebras (reverse for dimarzio) and gold knobs?

Black pickups with chrome knobs. Yes on the Nazgul/Sentient. Unless of course you go with the 7 string Black Winter set.

I think those are way too hot for my purposes. If i went with duncans, I'd be more inclined to use a pegasus or demon and a jazz.

I would for sure go with the Pegasus then. I've heard nothing but praise for it.
