NGD: First Gibson

I finally got the funds and found the right deal to score my first Gibson. I bought a 2004 wine red studio, with the hard Shell case. It feels and sounds great! Just want to add some gold pickup covers and it'll be all good to go!

I've been calling it my baby, hence the photos!

I recently picked up a broken Epi studio that looks almost exactly like this sans the gold hardware.

Definitely a good idea with the gold covers, that will set the finish off great on that guitar. Looks awesome already!

I'm not a fan of gold hardware, but I agree that the gold covers are a must in this case. Nice guitar, enjoy.

Studios are the best value Gibson you can get for tone, finish, quality, feel, and play-ability (no stupid Gibson-type neck binding).

Very pretty Congrats! I'm not big fan of gold hardware but it will set it off! Think it's the right call.
