My friend went out on a limb and bought a 1970 EA-250 MIJ . Guitar has some minor issues but is mainly for working on and upgrading his skills. Pickups are pretty decent sounding and it is a hollowbody , no block I can reach at least. 300 bucks plus shipping , not the best deal ever but not the worst. Tremolo is horrid at best

I actually got to work on one of those. In fact, the biggest shim I have ever put on a guitar is the one I put on that model. (Neck shim.)

The QC was all over the place back then, (plus years gone by), you never know what you may get with older models like that. Hopefully you got one of the better ones.

Neck is pulling forward and has some space at the joint closest to the body. We are probably going to try and remove the fretboard anyway because we like ebony. The knob layout is crazy too , volumes on the top and tone on bottom. Neck is first set and bridge is the back 2.
