NGD for me again.. I just ordered an Ibanez RG655 Prestige.

I have been wanting a shredder for a while now, I was gonna order an EVH Wolfgang but $1100 for a guitar with no case and lot of crappy reviews about quality issues I was like naw..
I had a Prestige and a Satch and an RG550 and loved them.. I was like, I'm gonna get another Prestige. $1200 a case, Dimarzios and the Edge pro, the Wizard Prestige 5 piece neck is fantastic and Team J Craft builds fantastic stuff.
My only downside is I may have to sell a Les Paul or a gun or two because my wife is gonna be pissed! I just dropped $1400 on an EVH 5150iii last month..

I got the Firestorm Orange.. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Prestiges have some of my favorite finishes...but I don't care of any of Ibanez' necks

It's an impressive spec RG, for sure. DiM and multi laminate neck are just the thing.

Well this went better than I thought. The wife was like ok but no more guitars and guns for a year or so.

She has a sister but I married the pretty one and we'll just leave it at that lol!
I will have pics and a full review as soon as I get a few hours on it..
I'm on a hair metal kick and cannot wait to kick out some Ratt and Dokken.

I love mine. The neck is almost non-existent. I did replace the Air Norton with a Paf Pro because I find the Air Norton too muddy and indistinct.

That's what I ordered, I love that orange.. It looks like Dodge Hemi Orange.
I love them Wizard necks, I have tried everything else and I just love that neck.

I agree about the neck thickness. I thought the thinness of it would bother me at first. It doesn't really, but If I were building it, I would make the neck thicker like the cheaper RG450 versions. I just like feeling the neck more than skimming by it with so little contact.

I didn't want to hijack this thread sorry shooter haha i just got excited about the orangeness of your rg.

@sking Its only the air norton around the wrong way and i don't know why. I had a tech wire this up years ago.
