NGD Gibson Midtown Standard Pelham blue

I picked up my 2nd Gibson from Samash in the last 2 weeks. This is the midtown standard with p90s in Pelham blue, i prefered the wine red but that finish was sold out. These have the thinner 60s neck. I haven't got to play it much yet but 1st impression it's a keeper. No QC issues at all, Gibson has blown me away again. At these closeout prices this is a hard guitar to pass up; rosewood fingerboard, trap inlays, bound neck, p90s, hardshell case..... It has everything I need

Wow... wow wow wow.... this is one of my dream guitars..... I didn't know they were selling them... I didn't even know they had a P90 Midtown....

But P90s in a semi hollow... pelham blue with cream P90s.... just a great looking and I bet sounding guitar.....

That is just awesome. Congratulations. Would be even more purdy with black plastic parts...

+1

Near-white soapbar covers might sit better with the binding. Black is both traditional and, somehow, instinctively right.

Gibson really hit it out of the park with the midtown series. I tried a midtown custom once and it was awesome.

I really, really like the looks of that. An affordable semi with P90s from Gibson? That's nothing short of a small miracle. :D Get some black speed knobs, toggle switch washer and P90 covers and that'll go from "nice" to "drop dead gorgeous".
