Well I was super excited about this guitar until it came today and is damaged. Ordered guitar and matching hardcase. Came in 2 separate boxes. I'm sure the guitar and case were already boxed up and they didnt want to open them up to put the guitar in the case but dang....come on dudes. That's just lazy. They are going to replace it but it's just a hassle that could have been avoided. Either way she is one sexy beast.

Its a bummer for sure......but you are only a victim of accident/circumstance here, nothing else.

Put together you would have had a broken/damaged case to send back.

Nobody expects the spanish inquisition......the boxes look large and well padded. Big enough for for the typical level of incompetence if the guitar was bought without the case.

I concur, it's sexy. So glad to see that it's not a pointy.

Main thing I have a hard time with is the Firebird-type placement of the controls so far away from the hand.

I think that's the point?

As far away from any hand or body part as humanly possible, for the "set it and forget it" type of player???

Yes it was very hard having to ship this back. It sounds SOOOOO good. being able to split each pickup gives so many different tones. And the Lundgren pickups sounds really good imo.

Love that guitar in the white. Generally Im a black guitar fan but of the three colors that comes in, the white looks perfect on it.

My buddy went through 3 of these before they sent him one that survived. They did the same thing and sent the case in a box and the guitar in another. The first two he bought from Sweetwater didn't have a case, and I cant remember where he got the last one but they stocked the case in one warehouse and the guitars in another and wouldn't ship the guitar in the case because of that.

But yea he really likes his and I think he is still running it stock because it sounds good and he needed a humbucker guitar for a few songs because he mainly plays Fender Yngwie Strats and they couldn't get the beefy tone he needed even through his JVM410H.
