I got my Harley Benton pro series teles in and I'm pleasantly surprised. This is my first HB guitar so I didn't know what to expect. From what I can tell so far it has a really nice neck on it, really smooth and nice shape, stainless steel frets. It also has nice hardware (locking tuners and nice bridge design) the body does feel kinda cheap compared to the neck but I this cost $205 on the 25% off sale. The only real complaint is the underwhelming flame maple top. The electronics are alright. Not bad but not the best either. All in all a very good value. Alot of guitar and a great modding platform for less than $300 shipped from Germany!

Looks cool. I do like the wood binding.
Pickup switch seems a bit too close to the volume knob. though.
Not a total dealbreaker, but if I were designing it I'd have arranged them differently..

HB is producing some pretty good guitars at amazing price points these days.

The only real complaint is the underwhelming flame maple top.

I think what you wanted to say here was...

"The flame is sublime. I am not a fan the ostentatious / gaudy AAAA flame. My chops speak for themselves. No need to attract eyes with the top of the guitar."

Is the bridge angled, or does it just look that way in the pics? It looks like the right side is farther away from the pickup cavity.

My first/only Chinese guitar had pickup rings that were not aligned and needed to be redrilled. They just did them by hand in as quick a fashion as possible.

Pretty. It seems very close to a Chapman ML-3 (I think that's the model) with the addition of SS frets to sweeten the deal.

It is indeed! That's strange, I measured it and it's 1cm further away from the pickup cavity on the treble side.
I never even noticed that, good eye!

thats odd for sure and maybe just a production defect? as long as the guitar intonates, i wouldnt worry about it
