they originally had it priced at $99 but when i pointed out the cracks in the neck they lowered the price to $60.

i figured i would glue it and be done but i can't get any glue into it but the cracks apear to be getting slightly longer. also its not in the scarf joint as u can see scarf in purple crack in red

so i figure a reneck was in order. i found a JS34 neck on ebay for 180.

i was wondering if anyone would know if a JS34 neck will fit a JS32 body

Re: NGD help needed JS32 Dinky

Based on the available specs it *should* fit, but the only way to know for sure is to bolt it on and see if it'll intonate.

Re: NGD help needed JS32 Dinky

The neck is 3 times the cost of the entire guitar
For about the same cash you could get a neck from warmoth

yeah.... after lookin more into it im just gonna return it. i like haveing a guitar with a floyd but the neck needing what it needs plus the bridge is starting to rust in places so brand new one is 299, mine was 60. + 180 for a neck + 90 for a new bridge its just not worth it. :( was nice while i had it but it just needs more than i can give it atm

Re: NGD help needed JS32 Dinky

With cracks like that, they should have just given it to you, really. Or parted it out.

I'm not sure that Warmoth makes a neck to fit a 24 fret Charvel / Jackson pocket. Their 22 fret necks also have a 2 3/16 heel while Charvel / Jackson uses 2 1/4, so it'll fit but probably won't be tight.

Re: NGD help needed JS32 Dinky

I figured they all had Fender pockets

Seeing as they all started that way
And Fender owns them now

My bad

No worries. I don't know about 24 frets, but Musikraft will make 22 fret necks with a Charvel 2 1/4" heel.

Re: NGD help needed JS32 Dinky

It's really not worth putting that kind of money into that guitar.

It would be a fun project to work on, however, if you've got some luthiery skills. You'd have to lift the fretboard, open the crack and force in some titebond, glue up the loosened fretboard, then clamp it til the glue sets (overnight).
