NGD: Heritage

Re: NGD: Heritage

So the arm rest was held on by magic?

Looking heaps better, the arm rest reminded me of those old 80;s single kick skateboards. You know the ones that had all the plastic attachments? They were cool

The armrest was held on with 2 little brackets to keep it off the body. The 2 small holes for it are on the side and go thru the binding. I am thinking I can get that patched up pretty easily with some side marker dots and a little lacquer.

The guy it was made for is a big Chet fan and plays in that style so I guess he had to have it.

Re: NGD: Heritage

the early Heritages have excellent old growth tone woods. The necks were thin back then because of the 80's shred guitar craze.... They remained 60's Slim D for the longest time. But there are some, more so recently that have much chunkier necks.

Re: NGD: Heritage

My old one which was a couple years newer had a more 50's style profile. Getting used to this one though.

Yeah excellent woods though for sure

I was just gonna say Scott - for the love of God, please tell me that wasn't screwed right into the top!

Good man.
