Well... just like needing another hole in my head, I bought another one...

Priced decently. Decently taken care of yet kinda funky (dirty). Ugly ass pickguard that will get changed out even if nothing else does.

I've done so well over the last couple years... but now this is 4 lately.

Great guitar. I never needed another Tele after I got mine. I think they sound better with the original brass barrel saddle bridge. I put a Broadcaster in the bridge and an Antiquity '54 neck in and it's like having a '54-'55 Tele except brand new. Gigged for over 10 years with it, played everything from rock, country, blues, oldies, pop, funk. Never looked back.

Thanks, but none of my Tele's would match that color scheme. But thank you for the offer.

That sounds like you think it's ugly as sin too... HAHAHA.. jk
I'm no where close to removing it yet anyway.
I plan on just throwing it in the case so it can stay with the guitar if I ever sell it.

Congrats on getting a great guitar. HWY 1 Fenders were their best value-for-money guitars when they made them. The "Grease bucket" tone circuit sounds great.

I like White Pearl pickguards on Sunburst Tele, but black pickguards do look the best.

IDK what it is about this one.
To me, It looks like a white pearl pickguard that's had 1000 cigarettes burning around it...or my grandma's kitchen floor with 50yrs of grease cooking on the stove. I'm pretty sure I'm going black.

I've had 2 Hwy 1 Strats. Sold the first and hated myself for it... then went on a quest to find a new one. Bought it and an American Special within a month of each other. They're like twins color wise. Love them both... just wish they didn't have that fat headstock... Always wanted a HWY 1 tele to match and finally have it.
It's a little beat up, but it's purdy...
