I already named it "Sparkle Star" cause it's so sparkly!

This is an Ibanez XPT707(something, something, something)! specs are: Mahogany body, maple/walnut 5 piece neck thru design, rosewood board, TOM style bridge, DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge and D-Activator in the neck, and an awesome reverse headstock.

Be interested to hear what you think of the Crunch Lab. I have a VT series V with the D-Activator set. Often wondered if I might like a different companion pup in the bridge. Love the D-Activator neck.

I have been using this Crunch Lab for a while, it was in another guitar I haven't been using so I just took it out lol. I think it's a rad pickup for 6 strings tuning no lower than drop C. It isn't tight enough for B standard/ Drop A.

I would consider the D-Sonic over the Crunch Lab, I tried the D Sonic in my buddies guitar and it was much nicer. that's my $0.02 :D

Cool. I usually tune to D standard. I was thinking maybe a D-Activator X or even an X2N.

I mean, if you really need that much output lol. I had a X2N at one point and through my old Mesa Single Rec it was almost too much output lol.

Lol, I like old school underground thrash/death metal. Better too much than too little. Though I do like the D-Activator bridge. It's a lot hotter than it seems and quite scooped. It's odd that I should want one like it just with a smidgen more mids.

Very cool! What's the neck profile like, and does it have the balance issues that some Xiphos guitars have?

Neck profile is regular thin ibanez stuff haha.

Neck dive is a YES, BUT. I am in a power wheelchair and the guitar sits PERFECTLY on it and it doesn't dive when I am in this chair so it stays in the classical position all the time and it's sooooo nice that way haha

I came back for a second look. Don't make me look again but is that the 27fret model?

Fantastic guitar man! That bridge seems to need some cleaning tho, or so it looks to my ageing eyes.

beautiful axe man! Congrats!

I've never used the Crunch lab, but really dug the D-Activators.
