Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

^^ Yeah; it wasn't just the Lukather but the RS335 and RS530 that had this aqua burst back then.

Blank ebony board ftw.

Aftermarket EMGs? Can't remember what these come with stock.

Stock, I bought it new at the store.

Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

Shame that they were not the -81X and -60X, in my opinion.

A -57/-66 pair would look and sound tasteful.

Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

Like the ebony fretboard just needs some big fat XJ stainless steel frets now.

Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

Noyce! I could go for something like that in a seven.

Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

do you ever get lost in what your playing? like how Vai calls it "The Zone" where you just play and it feels right? this guitar brings that feeling to me, not many do. its really awesome, any of you experience this? :P

Yep. A good RG or Soloist can do that for me, where the guitar presents no stumbling blocks, speed bumps, rumble strips, or other traffic-control devices. Just smooth, open road, and whatever you do with it is all you.

its not even set up well yet, this is going to be amazing!

I am running it through this:
Ibanez > MXR Phase 90 > MXR ZW44 (Zakk Wylde Overdrive) > Marshall JCM800 50 watt > Bugera 4x12

that guarantees happiness and "the zone"

Re: NGD: Ibanez content.

Usually not a fan of Ibanez guitars but this series looks good. If they had something other than EMGs they'd be more up my alley, if I could gel with the neck.
