Hey All! So about a month or so ago, I posted a thread about a Franken strat I was working on. Well, after some bumps in the road, and a lot of work, She is finally done! Before the pics, i'll give you the specs:
Neck: Ibanez S-series S520EX Original Wizard profile (Scalloped)
Body: 60th Anniversary Fender American Standard body in Jade Perl Metallic finish.
Pickguard: Custom Warmoth Cream/black/cream
Configuration: H/S
Bridge Pickup: Seymour Duncan Jason Becker Perpetual Burn humbucker (with coil split)
Neck Pickup: Seymour Duncan YJM Fury Neck single Coil
Controls: 2 vol, 3-way, and coil split (bridge vol is 500k, neck vol is 250k)
In the 2 or so odd hours I've had to play this guitar since I finished it, my first impressions are that this thing is a beast! I love the pickups. The Perpetual Burn is tight, articulate, and very clear. It also has a surprising amount of power for it's output range. The Fury very much lives up to its' name. When pushed with a boost under high gain, this thing sings like many humbuckers only wish they could! These pickups pair very well, and are a great option for anyone seeking a good H/S set for Shred, and everything in between. I hope to have some sound samples up eventually for anyone who wants to hear how the pickups sound together. But enough banter! Here she is!

Cheers fellas!
