Meh. Get a Schecter and you'll realize how Ibanezes in general are overpriced toys. The Schecter Banshee especially will obliterate even MIJ Prestiges.

C-shaped, 19mm thick and 42mm wide at the nut? The specs don't seem very Wizard-ish at all. Not to say they're better or worse, but that doesn't seem like it'd be a direct substitute for a Wizard neck.

Then again, I do recognize those Korean Schecters are VERY well put together, and would probably not need the fret dressing this Ibanez does.

I know, I was exaggerating a bit cause I am biased toward Schecter.

I was shopping for an RG652 the other day but decided to cancel due to some imperfection on the neck. This was shocking considering the 652 is a pricey high end model and this particular one was from 2017. Same thing with my RG655, the neck is kinda skewed on the bass side.

Later I found a Schecter Jake Pitt model for like half price of a new one, and was blown away by the superb crafstmanship and the neck joint, which feels like a neck thru.

I think everyone considering a Prestige should take a look at Schecter first. Definitely the real value for money.
