NGD: ibanez RG exotic wood

Re: NGD: ibanez RG exotic wood

Thanks, man. Plays and sounds perfect. I feel very stupid for not embracing indonesian guitars sooner. I am a happy camper!

I had heard bad things about the Indonesian guitars but the first one I played was the budget Jackson Adrian Smith, wow what a great guitar with a super comfortable neck!

The thing is, a CNC machine works the same regardless of which country it is used in. Quality control is what matters (looking at you Gibson...)

Quality Control is the key to look for.

I agree. I’m sure there are good and bad examples of both. Purchasing my gio last month really made me pull back and question the amounts i’ve been willing to spend on good guitars. A good guitar is a good guitar, regardless of build origin.

It’s also very nice to be able to leave certain guitars out without having a heart attack when doing such.

I got a steal of a deal on a cool Gio at GC several years ago–was a really fun guitar!

Eastman was the brand that blew my mind–Chinese guitars made with high quality (woods and manufacturing.)
