Yeah it is plek'd. I made a note in that thread about it.

The others I played were obviously from different runs and they've changed the programming or something. These frets actually have a crown to them.

I know it's the honeymoon stage but I can't find a fault with anything on it. I used it for rehearsal last night and other than tweaking the pups to my tastes it was perfect out of the box. Go Gibson!!!

What pickups are in the classics these days, Scott?

My 2014 had a Super 57b and.57n, but I have not paid any attention to the 2017s.

For now anyway. Not a pickguard fan but not a big fan of the holes left behind either.

Right now I am just digging the hell out of this thing, not looking to change anything at the moment except the strings.

Came with 9's probably throw on a 9.5 set. I've been liking lighter strings lately but the bottoms are a little too light on a straight 9 set.
