Latest guitar trade acquisition on my adventures this past week..2001 Jackson SL2H with a Dan Lawrence Pile O' Skulls paintjob. Overall in excellent condition just needs some Eric-style upgrades: EMGs yanked and old MJ wound Seymour Duncan Custom/Alnico Pro II set will go in, Floyd needs new inserts and stainless screws as well as a brass block. All new electronics as going from active to passive pickups, fret polish (very little wear) and setup in Eb. It will be ready for my January gig.

Very cool little project! Have you thought of scraping the Floyd completely and getting a Gotoh GE1996T? Should drop right in, you'll have to widen the 2 studs holes because the Gotoh one are thicker. I replaced 2 FRs in a Jackson Dinky and an LTD with the 1996T and couldn't be happier with the result.
 
The guitar is back in action! I played this last night for our big show with Psychostick and Galactic Empire. I will post pics once i get them of the guitar itself plus some live shots. It plays amazing and sounds crushing!
 
I have loved that guitar for a long time. I miss sweet paintjobs like that. Jackson did a great job on so many different paint jobs. I love the Custom/APH-II pickup combo too. I have that exact setup in one of my Dean Hardtails. Rock machine.
