NGD...Korina PRS

Rob (RJLII) came over here today to check out the THROBAK. He brought a couple nice CS Gibsons. We plugged into the Chicago Blues Box and the THROBAK. Rob ended up taking home the THROBAK....I ended up keeping this PRS that Rob brought for trade-bait.


Its a 2009 PRS Korina McCarty....its a limited edition, not sure on the total production #s, but half of them were Brazilian boards....this one does! I actually traded this guitar to Rob about a year ago...and got it back today.


It is a Korina body, Korina neck...very light. Wide Fat neck profile. 2 p-90 pickups, 1 vol, 1 tone.....vintage style tuners.


It was nice seeing Rob today....thanks for the good trade!

The PRS signature logo is there. It's just gold on korina, so it's hard to see.

It's not the headstock logo this time. It's the control knobs. Some tit has replaced the golden ones with cream.

I think that's exactly what it is. I've seen one somewhere before, and it really is just a a decorative box with fretboard styling on the lid.
