NGD - late birthday present

It's not strictly a birthday present, but I used my birthday present money to fund the purchase. Also: note the dyed straps I posted last week.

This is pretty much an evolution from the red s-shaped guitar I own.

The body's alder. The neck's a comfortably thin 2 piece maple radiused to 12 inches. Frets are Jescar medium jumbo stainless, I think. The hardware is Gotoh, and this one comes with locking tuners from the start.

Pickups are made in-house, and yes, those are wood bobbins (the single coil bobbins are made of wood, too). The humbucker is quite nice. It's actually two alnico 5 single coils wired together in series.

The neck joint is incredibly comfortable to play.

And it comes with a hardcase.

Want clips?

I'll upload a clip later, but here's a friend playing this specific axe.

Re: NGD - late birthday present

Thanks! To be honest, I'll probably switch the bridge humbucker for something with more sizzle and "life", but I'm happy with the guitar in its current state.

Happy Birthday Sir!
I like the feel of angled neck joints, reminds me of the 87-93 Ibanez RGs. There's a lot of cool features on that like the aforementioned wood bobbins.
