NGD MIM Fender fat strat

I am just getting back into playing the guitar after taking a series of breaks. I picked this up as something decent that I could mod into something great. I bought a tortoiseshell pickguard right after because I wasn't sure I'd like the white pickguard on the black body. I still need to drill out the holes because some are a little off.






The bridge doesn't have enough output or chunk. Thinking about installing either a JB or a Custom in the bridge, but I'm not sure what to replace the single coils with. They're ok, but I think they would be drowned out by a high gain pickups, plus I don't like hum. Maybe a couple STK-S7s.

Looks great! I'd go with creme pickups and dials if your already swapping them out.
It appears to have upgraded Graphtech saddles too so that's a bonus!

Well it looks pretty good IMO

I like the Custom Custom in the bridge with a split, I don't mind the noise of the singles so I'd go A2P singles but Vintage Rails would be all right I guess
