NGD My 2nd Shadow

This is my second shadow strat. I got this one for $220 delivered. The body is a bit beat up but overall i am happy as a pig in ****.

i saw on a hamer workshop video once that to really tell the quality of a guitar you need to look at all the areas that aren't seen. Places like the electronics cavity, neck pockets and tremolo cavities all tell the story.


This is the 4th shadow i have seen now with a Kramer Pacer customs l/ll truss cover. WTF

Awesome looking guitar!

I'm intrigued by the tuners–I think its cool when they use different color pegs but if those are stock I'm curious why they went with those colors...black would have been a better fit, IMO.

Ya had me up until the Basswood. Three thumbs down. J/K, I'll take one, especially for two hundred, good score. Those frets look great, bet it plays really well...About the two twenty, are the kids gonna be able to eat ok this month?

It has a ****ing high fret right at the 20th . Next guitar i get i am checking straight away instead of just thinking it would be ok. The frets from 18 to 22 look flat at the top so i will crown those.

The floyd posts are stripped too which is a pain in the ass. A mixed type of locking blocks as well and a non genuine arm housing and locking nut clamps. :grumble:

Not to worry all this stuff is worth getting right.

I like the look hey its just something a bit different. The chrome arm isn't stock but damn how cool does it look against the black?

No i actually love you. I don't hate you man no way.

I had a gas oven given to me but decided to go with a new electric one so i sold that which helped pay for the guitar. Money is good atm so the kids belly's are full.

And for the record you turdburger i was replying to you that's why i started talking about the frets.
