NGD:My cheapest Ibanez axe yet!

I take that as a compliment from the wise man :D

Haha..I knew that. "cauliflower ear" just has a nice ring to it so I will continue to mention it. Besides what's to stop some poor unfortunate from having both (tin + cauliflower) :D

I learn the things I want to learn. Not unnecessary rubbish. Always been open about that. No need for subtlety :bigthumb:

Well ear deformity being what it is is an awful cross to bear. I feel for you.

Remember "It is in the face of adversity that we are strongest" - Mahatma Gandhi...(or maybe not :laugh2:)

Now in cases like yours I would suggest flipping through the fattest books of theory you can get your hands on (no shortcuts w/ crappy little pamphlets and the like ..just really huge obese greasy ones) & drilling invaluable stuff like the circle of fifths, boxes etc into your brain like a parrot....cuz we all know that's what makes those fingers fly up & down the fretboard like fire :bigthumb:

I'd also invest in a decent ear trumpet to help w/ your wife's voice:D
