NGD! My first 7 string, and I still can't believe....

..I bought I freakin' PRS.

I went to every shop in town, played every 7 string in stock, and this one hit the spot! It looks, feels, and sound amazing!

It's one of the new SE-7's. From my understanding, it's PRS's first factory run 7 string.

If you had told me yesterday that I would have a PRS sitting in my studio today, I would have laughed you right out of my house. I'm impressed, this is a very nice guitar.

Yeah, that should work.

What's the neck profile like?

Just a bit fatter in the middle than the Ibbys. Width is about the same.

Congrats dude!

The width of the neck is something to get used to, but other than that, it's like playing around in silk sheets, " or a very aroused female."
It's very nice.

Dayum these PRS 7s are sexy looking things, congrats bro!
I was a bit skeptical of the 25 inch scale but it seems that many owners have said it does the job just fine for B standard and even Bb standard.

I was thinking the same thing at first. 27" scale "should", work much better. But, hey, if it feels good do it!.. It feels good!

Afterthought: The transition from 6 to 7 strings isn't that hard. It still feels right... You just have to adjust for that b. Once you figure it out, it's gravy!

prs has some really cool looking guitars. Grats on the axe. Make sure to chop some heads off with it.

If I were to get a 7 string, I would use an SH-5
I would also lean towards an SE since I love the SE one I have so much.
Never knew they put birds on any SE
