NGD - Padauk Juniorcaster?

Hey y'all! Colton from Harrington Customs here to show you what just came off my workbench. I finally finished her after two weekends of hard labor but here she is in all her glory! Specs:

Two piece Padauk Body finished with Tru-Oil
Bolt on construction
Warmoth Strat neck 10-16 compound radius standard thin
Maple of course
Schaller Hardtail Roller Bridge (highly recommend, amazing sustain)
Hipshot GripLock Tuners
Quarter Pound in the neck, JB in the bridge
Electronics:
Separate volume tone controls, basically wired Les Paul style
CTS pots: 500k and .27u for the JB, 250k and .47u for the 'Pound
The Volume knob for the JB is a push/pull and splits the coils and isolates the slug giving it a very convincing single coil sound

Very comfortable to play due to the body contours and the perfect weight

So far pretty happy with this build

Very nice. I did my first padauk build a while ago. I love the tone. I get asked about the color all the time from guys who aren't familiar with the naturally red wood. QP is one of my favorite neck pickups too.

WELL DONE SIR!

Thank you very much! I love the tone so far and I've always loved the look of Padauk

Nice job.

Was the inside of your workshop coated in orange? lol
Padauk is a b*tch to work with IME....definitely don't wanna breath it in!

Re: NGD - Padauk Juniorcaster?

Beautiful woodgrain at the neck body joint.

That is one of the thinnest bolt on areas I think I have seen. How many have you made like that and how is the stability factor?

What type of woods have you used to make that design and which has been the most durable?

I like it thin for sure, it's very stable with padauk, no problems at all

My comments were not meant to be in any way negative. I am just curious. I do not build them I just love some guitars.
