Well sweet water made everything right with the explorer and cut me a good deal because of the trouble. I managed to go to a few shops and try somethings out. The prs SE line really surprised me. So I ordered a zack Myers and an epi Brent hinds V. The V is back ordered but the SE came in today. Fit and finish are real nice I know it's not as nice as a core model but I like it. The only complaint I have is the nut is cut way too low. But I called prs and they are sending me a new American nut free.
I can say sweet water stepped up I managed to get the SE, V, mono strap, another string swing and 6 more sets of strings for right at $1,300.
I will give a better review when I get more time with it. I'm also hoping the V doesn't take too long to come in. I really wanted the green one but they were out. I think I can live with this color.

I have the same Zack Myers. Love it. I like it more than the Trampas green, personally. I did add some Gotoh locking tuners and changed the pickups to a JB and 59. Also added a treble bleed. Love this thing.

So far I like it. Just have to change the nut when the new one comes in. I am sure I will swap the pickups eventually probably go custom or custom 5 with a pearly gates neck.

Yeah, I changed the nut to a Tusq XL, made a huge difference.

Wow! How 'semi-hollow' does it sound? I've always been interested in smaller LP-ish semi hollows, but don't really want them to sound like a solidbody.
