well sorta... i had this junky body, on the bottom of a stack of junk bodies. i found a can of white lacquer spray paint, dug up a neck, my bro donated a GFS mean 90, and um that's it. no craftsmanship was involved, it even still smells like wet paint!

i think its going to be my pickup tester, i think i can change it without even detuning it

cool, i like! why dont you spray it red with black and white stripes? ;) isn't a mean 90 a humbucker sized p90?

Re: Ngd! parts-0-caster

hmm yeah it needs some stripes or something huh.... the only paint i have left is MGB engine block red! although under the white is sunburst, so eventually it'll start showing thru

its obviously a P90 sized P90, ah its a GFS "custom vintage"

Aww cool, I didn't even notice that it was a lefty. I actually can rock the **** out of it then!

Sweet.

Re: Ngd! parts-0-caster

I knew there was a lefty lurking around on here, but didn't remember who it was. Gotcha !

Re: Ngd! parts-0-caster

Haha, what mood is it?

it goes from stock strat to like oldies rock and roll to like bluesy. so all the way down, its like the tone knob is rolled off, then it comes up to like the kinks kind of sound, and then it gets all stock stratty and fizzy.

LOL

Never listen to the forum members, or you won't recognize your own gear anymore ^^

Re: Ngd! parts-0-caster

Leave it the way it is, wiring and all. Play it repeatedly and vigorously until your own bloody knuckles throw their own pattern all over it.

Re: Ngd! parts-0-caster

That's something all right.

If you're not playing that in a punk band (and I'm talking real punk, not some sissy Good Charlotte garbage) then you're doing it wrong.
