NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

Clint 55

OH THE DOUBLE THICK GLAZE!
It's friggin finished! Took 2 1/2 months. No more friggin guitars after this. The neck is an antiquity mustang set in series and the bridge is a double thick A6 ant JB. It has a 500k vol and 50k spin a split.

Clean series tones thru the twin then dirty tones series and split thru the peavey.

Congrats on getting across the finish line! I like that blue pickguard. I need to go grab the cans and give it a listen.

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

Love that blue on white

I was just thinking earlier
Man, I want one of those Mustangs so bad

That's the 24 inch scale right?

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

Thx. It's a bullet body which is scaled for 24 3/4" and I put a warmoth jazzmaster 24 3/4" conversion neck on, chopped off the 22nd fret, and moved the bridge back. So it ended up 24 3/4" scale.

The Ant JB sounds friggin OLD and clanky as ****! Here it is thru my nano and then rolling off the spin o split at that last open D chord.

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

Hmmmmm

Ok

Ya, just the bullet on its own seems pretty solid tho. I just like having a few guitars and going all out on them. This is the 5th and I'm gonna be done for now.

There is a good variety of tones in those clips. It is sounding like a win to me!

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

my buddy just got an HH squier mustang. pretty nice guitar, not a fan of the "indian laurel" fretboard though

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

They're friggin good. I love mine. How do you know it's indian laurel?

Re: NGD: Pawn Shop Mustang

I see. Something seemed weird to me about it! I'm using a warmoth neck tho.
