I played an old CE24 (cherry burst) once, from 1989, great guitar; nicely worn in neck. The only thing I disliked was the rotary pu selector, but a minor thing in the overall scheme of things. Still think about it sometimes..

Funny thing is I hated the rotary 5 way on my Custom 24 at first but now love it. Playing what I do I have to cover a LOT of different tones on the fly live ( sometimes several in the same song in fact! ) and once I got the hang of the rotary like it as well as I do a conventional 5 way.
PS my Custom 24 is also BLUE its the ROYAL blue though. CONGRATS and welcome to the PRS club!
