alex1fly -- yes, you definitely, and pretty much directly caused me to have this guitar in my hands --- props man! It was a good move!
I played it live tonight at my church gig --- found out a few things in the line of fire
The tone pot malfunctions and shorts out, so if I have it rolled back to 4 or 5, it will "short out" and sound like it's on 10, very bright and trebly --- I guess I need to get in there and redo some of the solder joints.
The P90s sound a lot more bright and trebly when they're turned up to gig volume than when they're down at apartment level --- they're very scooped sounding, lots of lows and lots of highs, I had a difficult time keeping it full sounding without mudding up. I need to turn the knobs on my amp, I was using a setting that I use with my 335.
Guitar plays great, feels great to play!
