I have been looking for a Tele for a while but haven't liked what Fender offers (that isnt Custom Shop) and dont want to spring for a Tom Anderson, Suhr or similar guitar. Recently I started looking into alternatives. I have always liked the look of Reverend Buckshot models and loved the price (check with your local dealer) of a new model so I tracked one down, tried it and was blown away at how good the guitar is for this or any price point.

The most interesting part of the guitar is the bass contour control on the upper bout. What it does is cuts out the low end from the signal. Since the guitar has a Korina body and the Gibson bridge setup it has a fatter and darker tonality than a normal tele. The Bass contour allows me to control the lows and give the guitar more spank. Great feature, makes for an exceptionally versatile guitar.

Specs are on the website but here is a coles notes version:

Korina body
Maple 25.5 scale maple neck
12 inch radius
Locking Tuners
TV Jones style neck
Broadcaster voiced bridge pickup.
