NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

Re: NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

That's all right, kind of reminds me of a Gretsch Corvette

Re: NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

This thing howls the blues & "finger-picks" country like a devil! I'm impressed! The hard case is beauty too.

Re: NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

Richmond is the new line by Godin guitars. I have seen them in store, and they are in about the same price range and quality of the higher godin stuff. I saw one of those the other day at the store while shopping around with Bass_Bear. I looks danm good.

I bought a Richmond Dorchester a while back, and its now my main axe! I love it and the case is pretty sick.

happy new guitar day. the guitar is not really my taste but the burgandy finish is sweet.

Re: NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

If it's made by Godin (or an affiliate) then I want one. End of story. Beautiful new guit man. Rock it hard and rock it well.

Re: NGD: Richmond Belmont in Burgandy

I dig!

I like them - they have way more VIBE than any of the Godin-branded stuff, and the specs are pretty cool too.

I like it when people stray from the predictable formula of playing only guitars designed prior to 1965.

Agreed. Godin for some reason doesn't have a nice feel to 'em, but all their companies otherwise have something great going for 'em. Seagull, Simon and Patrick, Norman, Art and Lutherie, and now Richmond.

Although I will say the Godin 5th Aves aren't included in the above statement.
