I love the features of the S-1 Custom. Double cutaway Les Paul Junior-esque mahogany body, flamed maple top, mahogany neck, smoooooth ebony fretboard with killer inlaysand creme binding, multi-ply headstock binding, gorgeous dark vintage sunburst finish, TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece, Schecter locking tuners, Duncan (of course

Lighter than my LP, it feels like an SG in my hands, which is what I would have bought if it was in the budget. Maybe later, right? I can't believe the playability and tone of this thing. It's bright yet warm, but VERY tight. The bridge pickup is surprisingly percussive through my Maxon OD808 into my Marshall JCM900. Sounds very "early '90s Megadeth" if that makes sense. Haha. It can also pull off any classic hard rock riffs I can throw at it. Very unique, beautiful lead tone. Not sure if I'll leave the A2 mag in it though. I think an A8 would fit my more rhythm oriented playing style better.
All in all, VERY happy with this guitar. Schecter has made me a believer with this one.
Here are some pics. Check out the flame on this thing!
