Hi everyone,

This is a modded ESP LTD TE-212 my wife bought for me as a Christmas present, and has for a few months been at my tech waiting for some upgrades.

I had installed a STK-T2b (Hot Lead Stack) and an APH-1n (Alnico II Pro), a Les Paul three-way position switch, and individual switches for each pickup for Series / Parallel / Split wiring. Still some hum on the bridge position in series, but will have that sorted out with my tech tomorrow. Some magic on the pots, allowing to select between 500k or 250k, depending whether in series or split, to try and catch some classic tones.

The Stack still gives a Tele character, although a modern one. Apart from a bit of hum, handles high gain very well. A2Pro is a dream on the neck, liquid solos just pour out, and parallel and split gives very usable tones, mainly in clean/ breakup.

Also a racing stripe for some Hot Rod look. Added Planet Waves Auto Trim locking tuners, Dunlop straplocks, a Graphtech TUSQ nut, and a string roller.

Some eye candy for you, as follows. I'm terrible at photography, BTW..

Re: NGD-Seymourized

very nice!! cool wife too! Congrats on the SE.. you are having Christmas in June!!! I almost pulled the trigger on one of those recently. Was concerned how tele like it would sound tho.. Liked the idea of bigger frets tho!

Re: NGD-Seymourized

That looks hot! I woulda bought one of those if the store I saw them in had "new" looking ones instead of the fake relicked ones they carried...

Re: NGD-Seymourized

Lil Red Hot Rods are always fun to have around. Enjoy that! :headbang:

Re: NGD-Seymourized

Thanks for the thumbs up, guys. Had a little hum issue with the stack in series, now sorted out.

ehdwuld, The guitar had a whole revision of the electronics. Changed the Tele type pickup selector for a Gibson type switch.

The individual switches allow for parallel (up position) / split (middle position) / series (down position). I can have pickups both in parallel, ou on in series and the other split, if I choose so.

500k pots, with an added resistor so that in split the pots will work as if they were 250k pots. The idea was to mimic the classic Tele sound when split, in order to try and capture some twang. Well, not really, but close enoguh for me, since I wanted it to be able to do a multitude of things.

Also forgot to mention, added an ABM brass Tele bridge, since the stock one was made of zinc.

Re: NGD-Seymourized

Bridge hum issues solved, the bridge pickup mode switch turned out to be a faulty one. No absolutely no hum. I'm a happy camper. Will try to post some clips during the holidays.
